deep cleaned the leather seats using leather wax and cleaning stuff i bought from a game fair years ago (use it on my leather bush hat and various other leathers bits and peices..does an awesome job)
hoovered every carpet i could find and get too! LOL
looked into removal of the passenger airbag unit; mine has a huge vertical crack down it.. couldnt figure it out but its a job that id like to sort at some point. might just invest in a replacement second hand unit and get it fitted. failing that i have access to some superb plastic glue that might just do the job neatly with a bit of care.
drivers mirror plastic was corroded and looking really crappy just beneath the glass, so rubbed that out and sprayed with matt black to do a really nice clean up job.
pulled passenger seat again and oiled, greased it to help with the sliding (its still not as loose as the drivers seat, even after my fix)
t-cut a few surface scratches and washed thoroughly.
siliconed the roof rubbers
all in all a pretyy good afternoon of tinkering and tidying.
last few couple of "niggles" to sort out and jobs will be done!
its nice to have a car i like enough to really take care of again!
and i swear cars drive better when they are clean inside and out! LOL
