What if......................

Post by Capncol »

...................you saw this stop sign flashing?

And this alert came up......
IMG_1682.jpg
and you saw this was empty......
IMG_1685.jpg
Would you still carry on driving for a couple of weeks despite topping the level up and it dropping within miles?

This is what I found

Take care out there. Those warning lights are there for a reason!

Forgot to say.
Service indicator is saying it's gone 7,500 miles past it's due service interval!

Phew!

I'm amazed at what some people can ignore ...

The bulb-out light lit up on my 156 today and I had to stop to check which one! It was front parking/side light so panic over as you can't see with dipped on. Not cheap though ... H6W bulbs ... small halogen ones.

Most driver's these days have no idea as to what goes on under the bonnet - and have no inclination to find out. A warning "brake fluid level low" has the same significance as "fuel level low" - just top it up every time it says so, and bingo! Its working again! Now, if the warning were to say "Brake fluid leak", possibly minds might work a bit differently. I say possibly because I have met people that think brake fluid is a special oil used to stop brakes from sqeaking! :)
