Hi
New to the forum and after some advice and help.
My g/f has a 2004 206 cc 1.6 and recently has had a few starting issues, when trying to start it recently the ignition lights come on but when u turn the key there's nothing engine wont turn over or anything, leave it for 10-20 mins and then it will start. Its a little annoying especially last week when crawling at low speeds on the motor way its stalled and wouldn't re-start, after pushing it onto the hard shoulder again leaving it for 20 mins it fired.
Its been into a garage today put onto a diagnostic machine but no faults found, could it be a dodgy earth/wiring somewhere or possible the key itself.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

Did you take it to a Peugeot specialist?
If all the battery connections and earth leads have been checked, and the leads to the starter motor too, then it sounds like the starter motor itself.
As you suggest it could be the ignition switch. Have you tried using your other key for a while?
Welcome to the forum, let us know how you get on.

Hiya mate cheers for replying
No it wasn't a Peugeot specialist but the garage normally services the car.
Unfortunately when she bought the car only came with 1 key, gonna have a proper look when i get chance probably the weekend, hopefully it is just a poor connection or even the starter motor as a new key from Pug will b costly.
Will let u know the outcome
Cheers
