Re: Roof won't close - three note warning tone
It sounds like one or more of the micro switches are sticking in place? Personally I would get a can of compressed air, give them a quick blow over and perhaps a wipe over with a non lint cloth lightly sprayed with wd40 or similar.

Re: Hello from north wales
So how are you getting on with your CC?! Has the Welsh summer been kind enough yet to offer you some roof-down time?!

Anyone want to meet for a pint in Hertfordshire area?!
Title says it all really, I'm over in the UK in the CC (assuming it survives the 1700 km journey!!) around the end of July. If anyone fancies meeting up for a chat and a pint, I'm game

New forum section for how-to's
As the title suggests, I was wondering if it would be possible to either make a new sub forum or a new section where all of the how to's that people have kindly written up and posted over the years could be grouped together to make then easier to find and browse through? Thanks for your consideratio...

Re: Special Edition??
The only 'special edition' of the CC that i'm aware of is the Roland Garros special edition. These came (as far as i know) in either a silver colour with a tan leather interior or a dark metallic green (similar to British racing green) with a green and tan leather interior. Other than the seats havi...

Re: 'Crashy' Suspension
Indeed, there was someone on 206info recently wanting to drop to an even lower profile in order to squeeze some 17" rims on his CC, i did advise him that it would be a fantastic idea - if he was driving around on an ironing board all day! I'm aware that the CC does have firmer suspension than n...

'Crashy' Suspension
Hey all, im hoping you can advise me on the best way forward to sort out my current problems with my suspension. The current dampers were changed in 2015 (have the invoice for this work) however no name for them is visible either on the units themselves or on the invoice, so i'm going to go ahead an...

Sounds more like the alternator than anything to do with the PAS.

Re: What did you do to your CC today?!
Sorry, poor editing with the photos. The bottom picture shows that my air box was sitting too high and was also held in place with cable ties rather than being mounted correctly.

Re: What did you do to your CC today?!
On the advice of Edward from 206info, I checked my air box only to find
This was swiftly removed, the air box was also removed, cleaned and treated with plastic preservative before being correctly seated into the air intake hose opening and correctly fastened into place

Well, today I stood by the side of the road waiting for my girlfriend to tow me home after snapping my gear linkage. Happy I am not.

Re: What did you do to your CC today?!
Sounds fun Steve ;) As for me, the replacement interior light arrived this morning, so gave that a bit of a clean up and replaced the existing one. It looks a lok better but has become a bit 'dull' if that makes any sense? It's lacking the shiny finish of the existing one even thought it's a lot cle...
