Re: fuel pump problem
do you have any advice for me getting a handheld fault code reader such as this Peugeot 206 207 306 307 Diagnostic Fault Code OBDII Reader from ebay...thanks Peugeot's are a pain on the diagnostics ... and a cheap one isn't probably going to be much good. PSA use a special diag system and it's not ...

Well you've probably realized that they don't!
The wheel bearings are in the hub and the brake disc/rotor attaches to that with two small screws ...

Re: Lambda error codes
Probably, but which one? There's a pre-cat and post-cat Lambda ... they are different in that the cables are different lengths (and this is part of how they work! But you could get the Bosch Universal LS615 as the actual sensor is the same.) Also check there are no holes in the exhaust ... since we ...

... and £78 everytime you take it back for something else when the first list doesn't solve it all ... Depending where you live, there are 206 owners out there with a diagnostic system called PeugeotPlanet who would be willing to check out you can and read the error codes, etc. and for a LOT LESS th...

Re: Kenwood KDC-BT92SD
Losing the central display is a given on a replacement unit .. unless it's a radio from the 206 range. A radio off the shelf won't have any external connections to link it up as it has it's own display. Your '05 is definitely canbus, so it's not a straightforward swap from what I've read. Try googli...

Re: Kenwood KDC-BT92SD
What age is the 206CC? Is the stalk the thin long type or fat flatter model? Former is pre-mux and might work, latter is MUX (multiplex) and is going to be a PITA probably!
Changing radios in later Pug's seems to be a nightmare of a job.

Not sure if it's the same as our 1.4, but that twisted through 90 degrees and pulled off.

Re: 206 Aircon- when is it on ??
If the light is on, as GrandadMonkey said, it's active .. but it won't work for several reasons: 1) the pressure is too low or even too high. A proper a/c specialist will pressure test the system and check for leaks before they refill it with a set amount of gas and lubricating oil. 2) shouldn't aff...

I think our HDi has had two temp senders .. one I fitted and one fitted by the dealer under warranty. Both times the temp gauge goes to max, but the engine wasn't overheating.

Re: 206CC 2.0 Exhaust
It was the front clamp that was the pain ... trying to hold it together while putting the two spring washers and nuts on proved fun! That's where I had one arm on either side of the crossmember. Once that was done, a few socket extensions made it long enough to reach from underneath. Yes, up on axle...

Get a clutch kit (Plate, Cover, and Release bearing) Yours is the one with hydraulic clutch release. Seen them for around £50 or less on the bay. Try and get a known make such as Valio (OE) Borg & Beck, LUK , Unipart. You can get the Valio from Europart. Or go to Carpart4less and see what their...

It's fixable, if you know how to get the gearbox out.
Will it cause problems? Leave it like it is and she'll lose the clutch altogether at some stage.
