Re: Constant beeping while driving... Help!!

If you start the car and open the roof pillar latches inside, then press the button to CLOSE the roof, does that close the boot latches? Maybe you've tried that but it does work on most occasions!

Wing mirror

The driver's side wing mirror is apparently broken. The part that houses the actual mirror is loose and I can actually remove it from the base (apart from the wiring). Can this part of the unit be replaced on its own, or only as a 'whole'? I appreciate the mirrors from a standard car have different ...

Re: Microswitch K

I pulled that bit down and it released the pin from alongside the bar of the switch, so it is now at rest at the base as normal (I think ??). There is only a small amount of play on the rubber/pin assembly, at least manually, but in guessing this is normal. When I push the rubber up it does fall dow...

Re: Microswitch K

Cheers Slo!
That switch in the corner has no play in it when the roof is closed, therefore the switch is closed. Does that make sense?

Re: Microswitch K

Ok. Had a another look. Still think I'm going mad though  Couple of pics now attached - interestingly the pin that moves to close the bar on the switch in the first pic is NOT where it was when I took a pic previously ( in my 'mixture of usual issues' thread )! It is higher up? The second pic s...

Re: Microswitch K

No, stumped!
Must be D? In its normal state it is closed - sits just beneath the bracket which inhibits the bar from moving, meaning the bracket must move to allow it to 'open'

Microswitch K

Should this switch be 'closed' in normal operation, 'opening' when the roof goes in?
Likewise with the switch on the panel of three, the one closest to the rear? (Is that D?)
Does that make sense?
Thanks

Re: roof no opening, no bong when opening roof clips

Hi Lizzy, My roof isn't currently working either, but try the simple things first as suggested .... If you open the roof latch you can feel about the front end (where the hook goes) with your finger and you'll feel a switch that moves. If you depress it you'll feel whether it moves freely or not. Wh...
