Re: 2.0 16v - Cold Start - Loss of revs?

This sounds like the automatic enrichment and elevated idle revs is not working. This should be initiated by the Coolant Temperature Sensor detecting a cold engine. I would try changing the CTS.

Another possibility is the Inlet Air Temperature sensor.

Re: Parcel shelf jamming and stopping boot from closing, roof open

That's interesting. I had the opposite experience - I removed the trim because I wanted to observe the mechanism in motion, and the roof wouldn't work! Replaced the trim and all is well. I can't understand why it would not work without the trim. It will be interesting if you can shed light on it, wh...

Re: Key not programming

Could be a problem with the starter motor solenoid, or a dead spot on the motor commutator. Worth trying an exchange starter

Re: Roof Problem - Parts needed

The kit is no longer available from Peugeot, but a dealer could just have one left over.

Maybe it's this? https://www.ebay.ie/itm/195053228117 I translated the page and it seems relevant, and looks like the part which you identified in the drawing.

Re: Roof Problem - Parts needed

https://i.imgur.com/GZ990Yu.jpg This is the extent of spares provision by Peugeot in the area I think relevant. It is not impressive. I don't know which parts are included in Item 10 - Repair kit, but if the part you need is not included, you would have to buy Item 1 at ruinous cost, no doubt, if i...

Re: Rear n/s quarter window mechanism terrible noise

The strip-down is correct, hence the quote from the dealer. The parts you likely need are usually available on EBay. The motors are quite pricey, but the other bits (Regulator Repair Kit) are not.

Re: Repair guide

The guide is an extract of the full thing, the Peugeot Service Box. You can either subscribe to it online, or you can install it on a PC by getting the software on EBay.

Re: Key not programming

I bought my Lexia kit of aliexpress ... and the CD had more viruses than intensive care in 2021! Those viruses are probably all manifestations of the modifications to make it independent of the manufacturers servers. However, it is best to use it on a old PC which never goes near the internet (it d...

Re: Key not programming

For no reason anyone seems to know, the BSI forgets a key occasionally, and it has to be "reminded". (Quite probably, your battery disconnection was the cause) This requires the use of Peugeot Planet software and the proprietary interface between PC and car known as a Lexia or more correc...

Re: 206cc 2002

My car is from 2002 and doesn't have the new rear shelf open mechanism with the Allen key, it's the old version with the rope, but the rope is missing. The Allen key should be available in all cars to prop the boot lid open, and to operate the hydraulic bypass valve - it should be in the foam box w...

Re: Roof cable that operates the catch snapped

The cables are part of the Lock Kit (basically cables plus catches).

Part No 8484 P5 Left Lock Kit
Part No 8484 P6 Right Lock Kit

If they are still available for Peugeot, expect to pay a lot. The alternative would be a scrappy. They sometimes appear on EBay.

Re: Engine number???

I tried looking it up from the VIN in Peugeot Service Box, but it said "Unknown Vehicle". My 206CC starts VF32DNFUR and the site works for my VIN, so I suspect your VIN has an error. I tried VF32DNFUF with your numerals, and it worked, but would not give me the data without a subscription....

Re: Brake problem

That garage sounds pretty dodgy and unprofessional. After working on brakes, they should have done a road test, discovered the problem and fixed it. It may just need bleeding.
