206CC 2.0 S16 EURO norm

There is a new law passed in my country that requires every car to have an ecology sticker defining its level of pollution. By these stickers (Green, Yellow, Red) the usage of a car will be prohibited on days with high air pollution. Now the law states that: - cars with EURO5 and higher will have a ...

Re: Greetings from 206 CC owner Canada!

All sorted out.
I contacted eManual support and they first provided guidance through messages.
When that failed they offered to connect remotely and fix the install, which they actually did.

So a big + for them.

Re: Greetings from 206 CC owner Canada!

Hi Tincap,

Was it difficult to import a 206CC in Canada?

@IanL, I actually purchased the eManual, but the virtual machine hangs on booting WinXP. Any advice if you have used the manual previously?

Re: Rear camera & sensor question

Hi Mikeste,

did you finish the install?

If you go behind the license plate you wil have to feed the wire all the way along the trunk opening mechanism. I'm thinking of installing something similar (sensors + camera) but in the bumper, should be easier.

Re: New Member and New 206 cc Owner

Welcome Salvador,

with a car of this age it is usual to have many things to fix. Some can be fixed but some not (i'm talking about you door trim bulge :-).

But it's a nice journey, it took me a year and a half just to bring the car to stock condition. But hopefully it will become a classic some day.

Re: Forum fixed, you can post/pm etc

Hi Lyndon,

it's been like this for a while (week or two).
But the issue prevented anyone from notifying (no posting, no PM's)…

Thanks for fixing it!!!

Re: Are you doing this?

If we are using the running analogy!! If I do both of mine at the same time sometimes one of my rear windows falls at the final hurdle and doesn't get over the finish line. The front one then charges off before the baton is passed therefore being disqualified. :) If the windows are done Separately ...

Re: Beeping when opening windows/roof

Could you describe the beeps?
Is it a single beep, a continuous beeping?

Also do you hear the confirmation beep when opening the roof latches?
After you open the roof latches, there should be a short beep to confirm the system is ready to open.

Probably there is some reasoning behind it...

But the hope that 'Righty' will eventually win is still there :-)

Are you doing this?

When closing the roof, after locking the latches...

Are you imagining a 'race to close' between the left and right window?

I know I do, and the left window always wins :-)

Re: HELP! What is this part called?

So has anyone had any info on repairing them? @IanL, thanks for the heads-up on not removing them as I was about to pull them out and at least try to clean them. The bumps are not so much of a problem, but the gap between the rubber and the glass will let water in. Can that damage the inside of the ...

Re: Gearbox..!!

Hi PeterG,

this depends on the year that it was produced.
Best bet is to check with Service Box (http://public.servicebox-parts.com/pages/index.jsp).

Based on your VIN you will get the correct part number for whatever is broken.

Cheers,
Martin

Re: 12V lighter power by ignition switch

Trying to revive a previous topic...
The lighter socket as it is now is constantly ON.

I would like to have it ON only when the ignition is ON, otherwise to be turned off (no voltage).

Any ideas? Can something be possibly done via the fuse box?
