Re: Hello from Perth, Australia

Get the GTi versions of the lower arms .. the bog standard ones last 5 mins with the heavy 2.0 lump ... GTi has stronger bushes.

Re: Rear speakers fitting

The wiring to all four speakers should be different. It's colour-coded differently for each speaker.

Re: "ABS Fault" and OBD2 query

A lot of OBD readers don't display the correct codes ... Peugeot/Citroen have a slightly hybrid system and bury some in the BSI which OBD can't read. Plus many are based on OBD2 which is fine for US cars or cars imported to US but Europe uses EOBD which is a derivative and some parts re-coded. Hence...

Re: PP2000 Key Programming - Help!

Is it a new key? If not I think it is impossible to reprogramme .. it needs to be a new "virgin" board from what I remember. I tried on an old one and failed miserably. So it was effectively a mechnical key only (I did get a new immobiliser chip to work, but not the remote buttons). Not su...

Re: Boot Lock jamming

I found that the metal rod could also slip out of the levers and jam so had to rebend it slightly to prevent that from happening. Some sort of clip to keep it in place would not have been a bad idea. Once the plastic hole in the lever gets worn it can jump out more often too.

Re: Car Judders

Which plugs? NGK do not work properly with some coil packs ... search on here for the bad combination.
I think it's the Sagem and NGK plugs that gives the trouble

NGK plugs have resistors which means the coil pack doesn't work properly.

Highly likely these are the same on other 206s so breakers might be an option

Didn't spot the rear bit so ignore the gti reference. Rear arms are all same. Although a bigger pita to replace I understand.

Re: YAY! Through Another MOT

Watch the suspension arm .. it may be wise to change it sooner rather than later. Our 206 had one where the ball joint came out of the arm .. which isn't the greatest way to arrive in an Esso petrol forecourt!! Pretty excessive negative camber too!! And the arms are the GTI version .. fit standard o...
