Don't waste your time trying to repair it, its a pressure joint, take it to any hydraulic specialist and they should be able to replace the crimp for you good as new.

Re: Speed not moving rooftop not working
The roof has an ecu that monitors the speed, if it detects no reading when it knows the car should be moving the ecu disables itself to protect the roof from being opened since it cant detect if the car is traveling under 5mph. This will need resetting by diagnostic tool unfortunately, also a non wo...

Re: 206cc speedo not working ???????
I dont know what models have that speedo working from the abs ecu but i was advised that too when mine wasnt working. Out of every single one of these cars I looked at in scrap yards all of them had a speedo sensor including mine which was the cause of mine not working too.

Re: 206cc speedo not working ???????
It will be the speedo drive cog that makes the spindle spin, has it had a recent clutch change? The usual cause is when inserting the long drive shaft into the box, it breaks the plastic lugs off the drive cog or dislodges it then when the diff turns the cog gets chewed up. Having said that though, ...

The quarantined .exe is a cracked version of the original programs .exe, it stops the key entering part of the program from ringing home to check its valid. You need to restore it from what ever antivirus program you use. But not before you have made sure its nothing genuinely bad.

Re: Car stereo, steering controls
The steering column controls connect to the head unit in the power iso connector. It works electronically through the canbus so only 2 wires for all functions, rather than 1 wire per function. You can get a conversion cable for the major manufacturers like sony jvc etc so you can retain the controls...

Regarding the window there is no fully up or down sensor, the e...

Re: Crossbeam for jacking?
Wood gets my vote every time as the cars sill edge will bite into it rendering it impossible (almost) to move about and slip out from under it. The bottom edge of the sill on the cc is pretty hefty if you are worried about using this to jack the car up because it looks flaky its probably about time ...
