The rubber above the drivers side door seal has split, does anyone know someone in South Wales that can repair it?

Have i got any options?

I think what Capncol was inferring was even if those gaiter clips are missing, it shouldn't leak from the rack ends .. if it does, the internal seals are also shot. In most cases it's where the metal pipes join the flexis and it isn't easy to bodge/fix those, but also as these cars get older the ac...

Thanks for the reply Capncol Yes the steering rack, when i looked at it recently it seem to be leaking from 3-4 different places. When a friend had a look he thinks its because the clips on the steering are missing from both sides. To be honest the steering has been a problem since i bought the last...

thanks for the reply Ian, there was water on the inside of the interior light which must have come through the base of the aeriel, the aeriel was changed and the base re-sealed and so far there hasn't been an issue 'finger crossed'

solved.

the aeriel had seen better days it was all scuffed and damaged, mainly because when the roof was being put back up the occupants would forget to put the aeriel out of harms way so it would get stuck and damaged.

new aeriel installed with sealant etc

this window doesn't close after the roof has been down, a friend pressed on the window and it closed but it won't close without a hand.
the motor sounds healthy, can anyone offer anything to narrow it down please?
