Quick question.
If my centre display isn't working, will it fail an MOT?
Just stopped working and i have no time to fix it before.

Re: ign live doesn't die imediately.........

Welcome Steve.
If you have a 52 plate your car will have have a multi plex system which means your BSI will need updating to allow for an aftermarket headunit. I had mine read using peugeot planet and it has an option for headunits.

Re: Which Idiot?

I know, Found a few things since owning the car but this one was a bit more stupid than the rest. It's like they just threw in what ever they had available rather than what should have been fitted. I've ordered a new set of Bosch plugs as i hear the TDK ones cause problems sometimes.

Re: Radio display

Welcome to the club.
On the instrument cluster you have 2 push buttons. the one on the right resets the trip computer and the on the left adjusts the brightness of the interior lights. Switch on the lights and then press the left button.

Which Idiot?

Owned the car before me? Been doing some more work on the engine. Found that they had used some crappy gasket under the rocker cover and put it everywhere (even where it wasn't needed!) So cleaned that all off and had a look at the cams and lifters. I also finally removed the coil pack after having ...

Re: Roof wire snapped!

It looks like the metal ring has broken in half, not the cable.
I am due to repair a broken cable on a customers 206cc and they sourced the cables from a 206cc being broken on ebay.

Front Wing

I am in the process of trying to rectify the poor repair to the front end. this is what i'm faced with DSCF3607.JPG Most of it is still straightened out but the one part i can't seem to sort is the O/S wing. It looks like the curve for the headlight is wrong and when you fit the grille, it doesn't s...

Auto wipers/Lights

I have now fitted a new comms that has auto lights and wipers on it. Now in theory, all i need to do is fit the sensor and reset the BSI to make it work. My Question is... Does the sensor wiring plug into the comms unit? If this is the case, all i need to do is find someone willing to remove the who...
