Re: Switched Live or Constant

Courtesy Light will be constant .. so it's likely the lighter socket is too.

I take it you are using a fuse jumper to connect rather than the lighter socket plug?

Re: Engine swaps

If it's the GTI 180 engine then yes it would take it to 180 but most 206 GTI engines are the same as you have. AFAIK the head/manifolds/ECU/Injectors are all different and the block possibly (thinking piston shape). The exhaust has differences .. and gearbox possibly. Being a later model it will be ...

Re: Servicing Question

My 2002 206 does that same .. the servicing mileage has no relation to the actual mileage I cover ..

I think I read once that the BSI needs an update but with the price Peugeot charge, I'll live with the hassle!

Re: Servicing Question

Most small independent garages around here are still open for servicing and repairs .. especially key workers and the more vulnerable. Some even pickup and return to enable social distancing!

Re: Servicing Question

I'd need to read the handbook (which is in the 206 and not accessible at the moment) but it can be reset by holding one of the dash buttons down - I'd need the manual to remind me which one but I think the left) and turning on the ignition I think. It then counts down for 10 secs ... then you can re...

Re: RHD to LHD conversion.

LHD steering rack, lhd dash (and probably conversion to kph), replumbing the brake pipes as well as the pedal box, sorting the throttle cable (if a 2.0) ...

Just buy a lhd CC ... much simpler

Some are sealed .... but usually small 2w capless ...

I bought an led version but never fitted it ... need to dig that out of the garage ... and sell on as the CC has gone.

Re: What size torx bit for head bolts 206cc 1.6

Just had a look on 206info and it suggests E-14 on one thread ..

There are a few Torx headed bolts on a 206 so buying a set might be a better bet ..

Vaseline is petrol based and will damage the rubber .. you would be better off with silicon based

Re: Non starter

I started my 206 fine but as I pulled out it cut out. Now when I turn the key the ignition comes on but it will not even turn over. I have tried a jump start, I have connected a diagnostic reader to the OBD but it cannot connect to the ECU. Ignition displaying eco mode. Any ideas please? Not all ob...
