CHROME ROLL BARS FOR SALE

Hi So my beloved car has gone today :( . I ended up trading it in with the dealer. He was suprised I didn't sell it, but hey ho. I took the roll bars off as I have only had them a few months and am now selling them. They are in excellent condition. I will except any reasonable offer. I paid £80 for ...

Re: Selling my beautiful car :o((

Hi I am asking £2800 o.n.o as the Vauxhall dealer we are getting the new car from said they would give me £1900 if I traded it in but he said I would get more for it if I sold it privately. Unfortunatley I havent got time to get an MOT on it as I am very busy at work at the moment and we need to col...

Selling my beautiful car :o((

Hi I am selling my beloved 2003 1.6 Black 206cc and I am gutted. My husband has got a new job and no longer needs his car, so we are selling both and just using one car. It is in great condition with FSH, 64000 miles and full black and red leather interior. It has recently had a new COMM 200 unit, f...

Re: FY52 TFK - Please Read

Hi Ladyburn

Did you get a full refund? Some dealers have no flippin shame  and should be closed down by Trading Standards.
You had a really bad experience with your 206 and I can totally empathise with you, your nightmare has ended. Hope your next car purchase is trouble free

Re: CAN I REJECT MY DREAM CAR which is turning into a Nightm

Hi Really glad to hear there may be a bit of light at the end of the tunnel for you. I know how it feels to have a problem with a new car...it's awful and can be quite upsetting when you're a girl  CAB are fabulous aren't they, I felt like a big weight had been lifted off my shoulders after I h...

Re: CAN I REJECT MY DREAM CAR which is turning into a Nightm

Hi Sorry to hear you are still having problems with your car. I have copied some info from the CAB consumer page for you (see below). You need to write to the garage and warranty company ASAP with the problems you have had with the car, also how much it has cost to repair to date. This is what Tradi...

Re: CAN I REJECT MY DREAM CAR which is turning into a Nightm

Hi there Sorry to hear about the problems you have been having with your car. I can totally empathise as I had the same problem a few years ago with a second hand car I bought from a dealer. To cut a long story very short I contacted trading standards who very flippin fantastic. They liased with the...

Re: Indicator Fault

Well double ouch!!! New COMM2000 fixed the indicator problem but not the horn. So had to pay another £50 for investigation. Turned out a wire had shorted out and the horn now works. Went to collect the car and was told I need some new pads on the rear, £99 fitted :( They had washed and valeted it so...

Re: Indicator Fault

Hi I have a very similar fault. My horn doesn't work, when I indicate right the full beam comes on & when I indicate left the lights come on!!!! I've got mine booked in with local Peugeot dealer on Thursday. Apparentley this is common fault on Peugeots and it is the COMM2000 as told to me by a Peuge...

Re: Not amused!

Fantastic news on the repair, really pleased for you  I don't know what I would have done if that had happened to me. I'd have been inconsolable and my husband would have had to buy me something really nice to cheer me up ;)

Re: Not amused!

Hi I can totally empathise with you. I would be absolutley gutted, as you are. On a more positive note, the car I had before my 206cc was a W reg corsa. Someone ran into the back of it and the boot wouldn't close and the rear colour coded bumper was badly damaged. I thought it would be written off f...

Re: Creaking roof

Hi there Are you sure it's the rubber seal? The only reason I ask is that when I bought mine I had the same problem. It was really loud but through process of elimination :? I found the creaking was coming from the catch for the roof. I unclipped it and gave it a good spray of WD40 and....ta dah.......
