Re: Chasing a ghost O2 sensor!
Thanks guys. FYI, these are the modifications as per original listing 10 years ago. I know for sure some of them are lies, though others are confirmed truths (Copy-Paste): It would be cool if someone would tell me how to confirm some of them... !!! PUG 206CC !!! Car is to be feature in Modified Moto...

Chasing a ghost O2 sensor!
Hi Guys, So, about 10 years ago, I bought a heavily modified for the track 206cc 2.0. It required work, but it has worked great for a long time. It's always a pleasant surprise when I find something new in it. It has passed its MOT without problem for the past 10 years. Now, recently, a CAT emission...

O2 sensor weirdness and PP2000
Hi guys, As you might know from my previous post, I was getting CAT emissions fault. I plugged in PP2000 over OBD2 and looked at the O2 sensor measurements in under the engine ECU. Indeed the Downstream sensor was showing 0v. Aha! I thought. To confirm, I measured the voltage on the gray wire vs bla...

Re: Lifetime of a Catalytic Converter on a 206cc 2.0?
Thanks for the reply.
From what I can tell, that set of images is simply showing you how to cut the cables to length as the original for routing purposes, not necessarily for operating differences. Still worth doing though in my opinion, and I could be wrong!
Thanks again.

Lifetime of a Catalytic Converter on a 206cc 2.0?
Hey fellas! PP2000 is throwing up a 420 catalytic converter lifetime fault. I have done 92,000 miles. 2000 model 206CC 2.0 16V My primary question is: 1. What is the expected lifetime of the Cat on this model? (I believe it is identical to the 136BHP 206 GTi) I hear they are guaranteed in the states...

Strange! Cooling fan causing coil pack malfunction? PP2000
Hi Fellas, 206 CC 2.0 (206 2.0 GTI) Peugeot Planet 2000 screenshot [attached]. Diagbox shows code P0350 (Coil pack etc) A short while after I start the car, the cooling fan comes on as usual, but when it does, the engine seems to almost die and sometimes does die. The fan goes off after ~5 seconds. ...

Please would some kind soul measure their ride height?
Hi fellas, I am about to have my rear axel replaced. Unfortunately, my car has been lowered. IM Axles are kind enough to adjust the torsion bars to the drop you want before sending the refurbished axle out. The problem is that I don't know how much my car has been dropped by. Measuring from ground t...

GTI 180 / SW Axle on a cc?
Hi fellas, The axle bushes have worn so badly that the inside of the wheel is scraping on the body. From all the axle posts I have seen on the net, it seems that it is a huge design flaw. They seem to have addressed the problem via adding rods on the SW / GTI 180 to prevent horizontal movement ...
