We had this problem having got the car new (it was an 03 import model). We changed the coil pack which worked a bit better, but still got cat faults, however we recenly fitted a new exhaust and this seems to have had a big improvement - not 100% but certainly 80% better. Also the "rattle" ...

The would be secured using the seat belts and would be black moulded plastic with a flip top lid.

Making a mould at the moment for the drawings to be set up.

Any ideas / takers?

Hi
forgot to update this

We had a new coil pack fitted and it has been 99% clear (1 fault in 3 months).
It runs much better and the mpg is up as well.

So suggest you get the coil pack changed if you are having problems

If you want to track your car after a theft then here is a cheap solution:

Get an old mobile phone with a car charger. Fit a PAYG simm.
Install in car and leave on.

If car is stolen then use the free tracking services the police have - just give them the mobile number!

This may be a bit naff but we was wondering since we never use the rear seat space about either removing the seats altogether or looking to get some decent "pods" with lids made; that would fit the rear seats and be useful for genral storage etc. Any ideas or thoughts anyone. If you dont t...

Hi was all set to get the tappets done - then found a local engine tuning company spoke to them and then took the car down when it was in fault condition. The read the ECU and it said "spurious misfire" - they have suggested this is the coil pack (only £100 instead of £500+!). They also ...
