Re: Modded 206cc in Colne
It probably cost a hell of a lot of money to make it look that bad! I can appreciate the hard work that obviously went into it, but it did look hideous (certainly stopped me in my tracks)!

Modded 206cc in Colne
Thought I'd pop my head round the door. I'm still enjoying my TT and had a club stand at Pendle Powerfest in Colne a few weeks ago, when I spotted this ... http://i834.photobucket.com/albums/zz265/Chushpie/P1001025_zpsym7v7b2c.jpg Not my cup of tea, but it was very well done. :) PS. Apologies...

Re: A fond farewell
Thanks very much to both of you.
I've enjoyed being part of such a friendly, helpful forum and I will pop my head around the door from time to time.

A fond farewell
Just checking in to bid a fond farewell. It's been a while since I last posted, although I have been popping in from time to time, hoping that my CC's new owners had joined. Anyway, there has been no sign of them, despite me giving them the website address, I just hope they've looked after my car. J...

Re: How would you improve your 206cc?
It would be nice if the roof panel could be glass but with some kind of roller-blind. Heated seats is a great idea My hubby used to have a Renault Megane CC which had a full glass roof and had a roller blind to pull across which was great (apart from that it leaked like a sieve!!) As for heated sea...

Re: MOT advisory notes
Ha ha, Gromit - I love it!! I adore Wallace & Gromit. I have recently had a run out to Wensleydale and am planning cruise for the TT owners club now that I've had a dummy run (I've called it 'A Grand Day Out'). You should definitely let the other half have his Fiat 500 and keep the CC all...

Re: MOT advisory notes
Why are you selling your car? Are you off to pastures new like me or changing for a newer model?
I had a car fail its MOT quite a few years ago for several reasons, one being a Shaun the Sheep air freshener on the dashboard! These MOT stations really don't seem to appreciate a nice smelling car!

Re: Does the 206cc like the snow
Hi Sue  Mine didn't do snow, I couldn't even get off the drive which is on a slight incline. I once cleared and gritted the drive to get off but it was terrible, then I nearly didn't get back home as I have to go up a hill (we just about managed it, although most of it was sideways!). It was a...

Re: Hi I'm new member :D from harwich
Hello and welcome  The one and only problem I had with winter driving in my CC was not being able to get my key in the petrol cap when it was frosty. I didn't find this out until I was on the petrol station forecourt and despite trying the lock de-icer and WD40 which I always keep in my gloveb...

Re: The unthinkable
Wow, I bet they take a while to clean! My wheels are very kerbed and there were chunks out of the tyres, I really don't think the previous owner was very good at parking! I'll do something with them eventually but it's quite a way down my list. Next job - rear brake pads, they're VERY worn. Being ab...
