Welcome to the fun world of CC's - although I wouldn't have chosen the 1.6 - even though there is on 15kw difference, the auto gearbox in the 1.6 weighs a ton. Becareful about doing to many mods as you may void the warranty - I wouldnt recommend changing the chip until the warranty is over. Enjoy th...

Hi guys, Sorry I missed the last meet - the drive to Batrhurst looked great. Reason why I missed it was because I had an accident on the Friday night in my parking garage..don't ask a very sore point - lets justs say I don't recommend a head on with another car even at low speed. Damage bill is arou...

I still love driving my...

Yes,

1. After about 500km's
2. yes - they cambered the brake pads / discs (not sure)
3. so far so good all is quiet and car stops better as well

Apparently problem relates to the fact that they no longer use asbestos in the brake pads (so PUG Australia say)

Cheers

Yep, I have a 2.0 as well and the gearbox can be quite annoying - I am one of those people that likes to put the engine through its paces (usually always change around 4K) but 2nd gear just doesnt like it... Will get the techo's to have a look but the car is such fun to drive that I will forgive the...
