Ok 5 months on from owning a New Tigra- here are my thoughts for anyone interested: Pros: :D Much quieter than the 206cc no squeaks rattles or undernerving window shakes with the roof down Handling marginally better than the 206cc Altogether feels slightly better built & would miss the Tigra's m...

Well I shall keep you all posted with the Tigra's progress Interesting to have owned both cars and be able to compare them, I shall do some more miles and keep you all updated So far I am slightly concerned that my 1.4 Tigra does less miles per gallon than my 1.6 206cc, here's hoping that its becaus...

Having bought an import, I probably wouldn't do it again. However I imported through a fairly dodgy company and they didn't give me the spec I ordered. I was definitely treated as second class at the dealerships and although they did fix warranty work, they won't go that extra yard. I think had I bo...

Why IF you HATE Peugeot 206cc so much are you still writing things on the PEUGEOT 206CC website. Is there not a Vauxhall website that you can register on. A lot of people are happy with there 206cc and like coming on the PEUGEOT website to talk about them. I just don't understand why you are slaggi...

Well I prefer Opel! However at least they have made a super diesel and a true sports car.... now what have peugeot ever done? My 206cc was my first Peugeot, and I probably wouldn't buy another Peugeot. However more because of the service than anything else. I am very convinced that a new car simply ...

Do you have a 1.6?

They have a hesitance problem, which means when you pull out the engine does a mini stall- often leads to heart attacks when pulling onto main roads!

It looks better with the body coloured roof section, those silver roof sections look hideous  All a matter of taste! :P  At least my car is no longer as common as muck! 100's of CC's in Swindon, I see everyone has given up on the spotted section on the grounds that you would have to repo...

Shame it doesn't have a manual shut override, however still prefer getting wet to having to suffer brakes that squeal lik...

Well that's not entirely true I accidentally got the 17" alloys, but made the sales guy write that I would get a windstop and a spare wheel on the form when I arranged the deal (my 2 big asks!). So I have big alloys and a spare wheel (and the two cans of squirty stuff from my cc!) Oh and for yo...

The Tigra is Opel's (Vauxhall) response to the 206cc.

True 2 seater hard top convertible, with bigger boot.... and a spare wheel!!

I finally got my Tigra, so my old pug is lurking somewhere in Swindon looking for a new owner!

So far have discovered I can now flash people, don't get wet when I open a window and it is much, much quieter!

I was really excited about the windstop.

I saw this the other day.

How did you damage it sooooooooooo much.
Well if you are a bit careless when taking it out they are not that strong! However the bent bit can be fixed, but I am not very technical and thought it would be best left! :D

Well its a done deal- only up to 12 weeks left of Peugeot ownership! I was too lazy to change the discs, but frankly I have been thoroughly p**sed off with the way Peugeot have dealt with this. In my opinion head turning brake squeal is not a desirable feature of a new car and is a fault. I guess th...
