Try this, set the U clips to normal, and close the boot, (not locked) ignition switch ON and use the roof switch " down "to close the roof. Most likely it will reset, locks the boot, Of course( Ensure the allen key in the hydraulic unit is turned clockwise snug and removed) Robby.

You have a bad connection some where, moisture on a electrical connector will give faulty indications, so you will have to clean and protect the electrical connectors, use contact cleaner for cleaning and DC-4 silicone grease for protection.

Does anyone have any ideas of how to fight those annoying noises coming from the roof while i drive? Do you have any product that you could suggest me ,to use and stop those crackles? Thanks in advance. DC-4 clear Silicone grease works very well, also keeps the rubbers/seals from weather cracking. ...

Thanks, you are are right, great all this good info, especially the repair guide and your manual you send me, as soon I'm back in Peru, I'm going to Trouble shoot the roof, now i know how to open/close the manual cycle's, and all components and switched !! Thanks so much !! Robby.
