Just going to stick to my reliable and comfortable Smart Forfour - had it for 4 years without a peep of trouble.

My 'latest' fix for this problem is - Remove both battery terminals and hold them together for 15 seconds. (this earths any residual current in live system). Buy a new battery and refit terminals. I did this and the warning disapeared!! I have now followed through with the ULITMATE solution to ALL 2...

Antipollution warning was a problem so got diagnostic done - this identified the cat being faulty. Had it replaced - no warning lights - hooray!. 200 miles later the dreaded warning has reared its ugly head again. Going in for ANOTHER diagnostic check tomorrow. Here we go again! A separate problem a...

Now that the dryer weather has arrived I find, on steering to left or right, I have a rubber sounding squeek. Not sure if this was steering or suspension - so I liberally sprayed the front springs with WD40 (some may have sprayed onto steering assembly). Problem disapeared. Two weeks later and it's ...

Peugeot models, I believe, are abot £200.
I bought mine second hand from Ebay for £50.
I wouldn't be without it now - the difference it makes in comfort is amazing.
Even on cold days - put the roof down, put the heating up to 3, it's great.

The 'Old favourite' warning has raised it's head again(ANTIPOLUTION). The latest incarnation was after I had a new exhaust fitted. I took the car back and suggested they check it. They found nothing wrong. I got to thinking - knowing nothing about lambda sensors - is it possible for the exhaust fitt...

What other car gives you the sun on your face, looks great and you don't get ripped off for 'sports car' insurance?

It's brilliant as a second car when the sun comes out. Lads or lassies will both enjoy it.

The string is to release the parcel shelf if the roof fails. Like yourself I would love someone to tell me exactly how to reattach the new one I have bought. - at great expense - When we fit the new one you and I must remember to tuck it into the access hole to prevent it breaking again. I learned t...

Dead easy to do and has no effect on braking, in fact because I'm not cagiliy puting my foot on the brake (trying to avoid the squeeking) it gives you more guts to brake with confidence.
