i got a new driver side wingmirror for my car from carmirrorman on web. It cost £84 and as part of that you have to send your damaged one to them (freepost). They send a new one in return. More than reasonable and the nice guys even transferred my blue wingmirror cap onto the new one :)

Nice pics. just out of interest, how much roughly did it cost to get the side bumper bits etc body coloured? really enhances the car.

Hi, I need to remove my passenger seat as a bolt has gone and it rocks about, but was wondering how I went about disabling the side airbag as I don't want it to go off. is it just a case of unplugging the wire under the chair, and if so, if i then start car without it plugged in will it cause proble...

What year is your car, could be that you are both talking about different keys. My sis has a 51 reg and it has the old style peugeot key, my 52 has the new style one. The new one is more bulky and has a long button to lock and a small round button to unlock. They simplified the mechanism in the newe...

it is a known problem. Had it on my car and it cost similar amount. Was such a bummer. What are your symptoms? If it is lumpy on startup (especially in damp/cold) but then gets better as the engine warms then it is very likely to be tappets. Also sometimes the antipollution/catallytic converter erro...

Hi,

You should find there is an aerosole in the boot that fills a punctured tyre with gunk which makes it safe to drive to nearest tyre place. If not you can get it off ebay to replace it. Hope this helps (its in a polystyrene case)

On a seperate note, i'd check if it has had its hydraullic tappets replaced. it is a very common fault on 2.0l around 51-52 plate (search for it on here) and if they go (you will know by a lumpy idle when cold ie winter cold) then you are looking at a bill for £1k. pissed me right off after having ...

no, its all the time. It's odd. absolutly no loss of braking, just bloody annoying that every time i take my foot off the brake pedal (unless i do it very gradually) there is a hiss. Its ok if stereo is loud, but that can't always be my solution to faults lol/

I have a 206cc 2.0l 52reg. Everytime I take my foot off the brake there is a hiss (tsssss). I thought it was normal but my sis now has a 206cc and hers does not do it. Is it something simple. A friend who is semi mechanical said it could be a hole in diaphragm of master brake cylinder. Not sure. Any...

Bloody typical, finally booked car in (under an AA warranty) to sort out the lumpy cold start (hydraullic lifters I think thanks to reap). But typically the weather has warmed up so it actually doesn't start that bad. Still a little rough, but the cat fault and anti pollution fault light don't come ...

Thanks reap, its not that bad yet, is it likely to get worse? also I have an AA 5 Star warranty, is it likely that this would cover the repair?

Hi, not sure if any of you can help. When I start my cc in the morning the engine revs aren't that stable, they judder a little. When I rev the accelerator a little its fine, but comes back. The revs stabilise as soon as the car is warm. Any ideas what this could be as i didn't htink injection cars ...
