Nope, didn't work.
Not only that, but original key wouldn't work until I forced pp2000 into customer mode (whatever the hell THAT is)

Re: PP2000 Key Programming - Help!
Thanks mate. 1010288 I read somewhere you ditch the first couple of digits for build number? I've been using 1028 on Pp2000 and it seems to work, all Ecus responding. But I'd have thought at the very least, I'd be able to wipe the ECU key memory and re-memorise the original key? It doesnt seem to be...

Re: PP2000 Key Programming - Help!
The process as I understand it, is you tell it how many keys (2), and it pretty much forgets all previous keys and you program both keys your want to use - in this case the old key and a new key.
The new key is new, not second hand.
At this stage I'm a bit antsy, I don't want to brick the car.

PP2000 Key Programming - Help!
Hi guys and gals I've been trying to program my Pug to accept a spare key. I've gone thru the PP2000 steps as applicable, however when the process says to use the key to turn ignition on, it fails to learn the key (either the old functioning one or the new one). The message I get is "switching ...

Re: Pump Connections
All good, worked it all out.
The little lever that the roof trips when stowed, wasnt being pushed far enough to tell the system that it can proceed.
The cluster of zip ties and sh1t that I removed were obviously there for a reason!!

Pump Connections
Hi guys I've just replaced the parcel shelf ram (the old one was leaking like a MF), now I have a problem with the parcel shelf not operating. Roof will fold, but the boot lid remains open. Possiblity 1 - The new ram is cr@p. Possiblility 2 - I've connected the hydraulic pipes wrong way around. So I...

Re: any body changed a engine mount centre
Apologies for the thread revival... I'm liking at doing the same thing with a replacement powerflex Bush. They have two versions, 65mm and 70mm. Spec says my car 1.6 TU5JP4 takes a 65mm, but after fixing around under the car with a torch and tape measure, it looks to me that it's closer to 80mm. Am ...

Re: Tyre sizes and clearance
Update - I've taken the punt. 205/50 r16s fit just fine. Speedo error - actually less than it was with the 45s. Speedo now reads dead on. Appearance - I reckon it looks better with a bit more tyre in the wheel arches Handling - I've probably lost maybe a half a second if i were to hit the Nurburgrin...

Tyre sizes and clearance
Time to find some new tyres, and I've noticed that the standard 205/45 r16 is a bit of an oddball size.
Is it viable to expand the selection to include 205/50 r16 or even 205/55 r16, without rubbing or fouling springs or wheel arch liners?

Re: Which Scanner?
I've gone and picked up an autel diaglink of ebay, and I'm actually a little impressed. You load up the software package for your car brand, and it just frikkin works. It won't do everything that pp2000 is meant to do (coding keys and stuff) but it does all the ecu scanning right of of the box. It's...

Re: 206cc, 2.0 - Airbag fault
I'll jump into this thread.
I'm about to go hunting for an airbag fault, but before I get to far into it - three wires under the passenger seat.
I suspect two are for the air bag.
What's the third one for? Seatbelt?

Re: Which Scanner?
Wow, THAT was an ordeal, After a heap of experimentation etc, it looks like the USB<=>Interface cable was dodgy, probably slammed in one too many doors. I used the short cable from the kit, and it seems to work. So I've loaded up DIAGBOX on an old laptop + VMWare XP, avoided going thru all the updat...

ON advice from the peugeot forum ive tried updating the firmware on the box. Current firmware 4.2.2. Updated to 4.3.7, didnt work, when i checked again later on it had reverted to 4.2.2 Tried again (and confirmed again that the upgrade had been applied), and 5 mins afterwards it had downgraded itsel...
