adding a key and reprogamming
Hello everyone, a nice day out there today and I hope I will get my keys done today. I Bought Lexia3/PP2000 (40£) and replaced my 20-year-old laptop's (Sony Vaio ) battery (19.90 £) . Installed and test run pp2000 and it works. I bought the key code from My Peugeot Dealer for 35£ and bought two Keys...

Re: lexia and pp2000
Hello Ian, It means reading the bad sectors bit by bit and with the help of some glorious "guestimation" algorithms fix the missing ones. Read it over and over again, until it makes sense. First step is always hand warm water and some washing up liquid to make the surface as readable as po...

Re: lexia and pp2000
What a nightmare that was. Thanks for all the attempts to help. Couldn't get the other versions running so I reverted to my damaged dvd and did the repair job with descrambling it bitwise and burning a new iso. Took eight hours but worked in the end. After I managed to install, I fell foul of the er...

Thank you. Worked very well. Did recognize the lexia3 as well after installing the driver from the damage dvd. Just one problem remains. I have sent you a pm. Luke

Re: lexia and pp2000
Hello Spitfire6, my favourite team in Fantasy football, Burnley. I have three of their players and am doing quite well this season. Sorry for the late answer. I am single dad of two boys, so weekend is always very busy and on top of it, eldest one has his first confirmed c-19 case in school. That me...

lexia and pp2000
Hello everyone, I don't know if I am in the right spot here but I just give it a go. Got my lexia, dusted my sony vaio off, which runs XP, last updated September 2013 on service pack 3 and tried to run the cd with pp2000. First it stopped with, "wrong installer" at 48 %, after some cleanin...

Re: Peugeot 206 CC 1.6 Newbie
hello Steve, good to see you getting on as well. I went through the same here, brakes, discs, keys. Next on the list are the bushings. But that is not urgent, will become though ;-). I bought the diagnostic thing Newest Lexia3 with 921815C Fir... so I can manage the keys and my airbag warning light ...

Re: Peugeot 206 CC 1.6 Newbie
Hi Steve.
the old remote fobs should still work as they are not directly connected to the transponder chips. Are they not? You just swap the electronic from the old fobs into your new ones and you are done. Only the circuit boards. And you should be done. Luke

Re: Peugeot 206 CC 1.6 Newbie
Hello Steve, step back, take a deep breath, I would say. What we know is, the car was running in January because it had MOT. Your keys match the locks, cause they open the doors. When was the BCI changed? After the MOT was done? Then you have a problem which only a Peugeot dealer can solve or someon...

Re: Peugeot 206 CC 1.6 Newbie
Hello Steve, I did it with a locksmith because I still dont have the necesarry paperwork to do it at a dealer. As you are in a more comfortable position you can do it at the dealership. Some don't charge at all, some 30-60£. But you can't move the car I guess. That is a tricky one. There is a list o...

Re: Peugeot 206 CC 1.6 Newbie
Hello Steve,
welcome. Does the car beep when you leave the key in the ignition and open the door? If not, you need to reregister the keys with the BCI. But try both keys in the ignition. Sometimes there is luck. Luke

Re: right battery?
Hello Spitfire6, the battery: YBX5012 Yuasa Silver High Performance Car Battery 12V 54Ah HSB012 from Tayna. You will find all the data on their website. Fits perfect and of course looks like in your photos as Ian doesn't have any Photos in this post. I also changed the bulbs in the central display w...
