Re: Dutch 206CC

Don't forget to apply this to the roof when it is fully down. Don't stop it half way. I speak from experience !!!!

exhaust separated

So am driving the car and accelerate away from a roundabout and suddenly exhaust gets loud and there is banging noise. Exhaust had separated at the junction between the cat and the rest of the exhaust. Use webbing straps to support exhaust and manage to get home. On further investigation it looks li...

Re: Are you doing this?

Yep. It has been lubricated and all close perfectly if done one at a time. If both done at the same time the voltage drop seems to lead to the occasional early stopping of one of the rears.

Re: Rear camera & sensor question

Can you go in through the number plate light hole. That is what I have done in the past. Cut a groove in the light to give clearance.

Re: Roof issues

Try lubricating all the joints on the boot. There will be a microswitch that is triggered when the boot is fully open. It seems your problem is in the boot not opening far enough to trigger this. Good job the switch is there because the roof itself might catch on the boot if it is not open enough.

The front one then charges off before the baton is passed therefore being disqualified. :) If the windows are done Separately t...

Re: MOT Time

Well the MOT will be complete tomorrow. It has needed two new wishbones at the front. I knew it would need the drivers side as it had a clunk and it felt lose coming out of corners. The second one was a surprise and might have been the difference between doing the MOT and selling the car. At the poi...
