Yep, I've called a couple but they just sell kits with loads of different valve cores and there's no guarantee the kit will have the ones I need.

Air con valve cores

Hi folks, The high and low ports on our 206cc's air con are leaking and I've (rather foolishly) disposed of the old cores thinking I could easily get replacement valve cores  However, this is not true - apparently Peugeot never sold valve cores separately, they only sold a new pair of pipes in...

Re: Brake lines - replacement advice please

Cheers Gazza - didn't manage to have a look this weekend but if they look very buried up front I might refresh the centre and rear sections by putting a joint in.

Brake lines - replacement advice please

Hi all, Does anyone have any advice for me when replacing the steel brake lines under the car please? As Servicebox is no longer available I cant even get an idea from there and I can't see anything useful on a Google search. I guess the main question, as I can't be bothered to look for myself :roll...

Re: What did you do to your CC today?!

Took her out for a run to watch a soap-box derby on Saturday.

A couple of hours motorway driving did her good given she only gets used on short journeys these days.

Re: Steering clunk when stationary

So I took it out for a drive and made vigorous use of the steering and leant on it a bit and the clunk has now disappeared.

I'll keep a close eye on it but no reports of reoccurrence in the last week so I think I’ll just put it down to one of those things.

Steering clunk when stationary

Hi all, I did the brakes on our 206cc a few weeks ago and it went straight through its MOT a few days later with no advisories. This week we've started to notice a clunk from the front end but from what I've found online its not the usual engine mount or drop link clunk! It happens when steering lef...

Is the diesel not a preffered model these days? Ours has been bullet-proof over 13 years and 101k miles and I'd always recommend one.

Re: Hello

Thanks both,

I only found this forum as I was looking for a quick guide to doing brakes as the MOT's due soon but it seems to be a really friendly forum.

Col's guide to replacing brakes was priceless last weekend - thanks!

Hello

Hello all, I've just signed up to this forum - have had an Onyx Black 206cc 1.6 HDi FAP Allure from new in 2005 and thought it about time I got involved. I'm a member of a similar forum for another car I own and they are a great bunch so here I am hoping to contribute and maybe call for help from ti...
