I was just looking on that website that supposedly tells you how many cars of specific models and years are still registered in the UK and it listed both the models in my thread title. Is this correct ? It seems like there is just under a third of the amount of 'Sport CC's' as there are 'CC sports' ...

I will see if I can see a difference between the two doors. I know that both of them seem to protrude a bit at the top of the actual door rather than the top of the window but the drivers window is fine.

Well, it seems like this car is not done with my wallet just yet. After changing the clutch slave and the engine , timing belt etc ..now the clutch itself has given out and the car is back at the car hospital for more surgery. I have never had such bad luck with a car in all my years of buying cheap...

I bought an installation kit off the bay as well which included a surround for the head unit, a wiring loom thingy and an aerial adaptor. It turned out the head unit came with its own loom that worked just fine, and the surround for the head unit wasn't required either so all i needed was the aerial...

Rear speakers haven't arrived yet but today I swapped out the head unit and front speakers. the new speakers are 3 way so I just didn't bother connecting the original tweeters back up. I was hoping that the speakers will come with whatever connectors/plugs that they require, i do have some knocking about here somewhere though.

I have ordered a set of 'FLI' speakers which are cheap but have mainly positive reviews, and a 'refurbished' Sony Head unit so i can bluetooth the phone to it .

Hopefully it should be a reasonable improvement!
