Re: Default state of the microswitches
Apart from A and B, the switches are all named with either an open or a closed function. My understanding is that the switch contacts are closed when the state is as the title. So "Retractable roof closed switch" will have the contacts closed when the roof is closed, but "Retractable...

Re: Default state of the microswitches
Might be worth watching the roof video. There is a lot of info in it. Yes, I have watched it many times the past few days haha. Anything to make this dreaded beeping go away. Although unfortunately I can't extract this information from it. Easiest would be if a member of this forum with a working r...

Default state of the microswitches
Hey all, i'm having trouble figuring out the following info: Should all the microswitches be de-pressed by default?(when the car is parked with the roof on the car and the trunk open?) A few of the switches in my car seemed to be pressing the button in their default positions, and a few seemed to be...

Re: Spring on microswitch fell off. Help
Tough luck, can't seem to find them anywhere. The other option would be to try and extract this one from the pit it fell into, but I can't seem to reach this place from the trunk, so I guess I need to remove the rear seats to access this hole. Correct assumption? It fell into the hole at the left si...

Re: Spring on microswitch fell off. Help
Alrighty, do you know where I could buy these online? Also, one of the other microswitches also lost its lever but I managed to reinstall the lever and it works again. So I wouldn't mind buying a broken switch just for the metal spring

Spring on microswitch fell off. Help
Oh my, this sucks! I was checking all the microswitches as my roof wasn't opening any more, and the one on the left Trunk cover hinge was not clicking (is it supposed to click with the trunk open and roof closed?). I pried it a little tiny bit and it jumped off, fell into the abyss of the car's bell...

Re: Roof won't open / Trunk lock problem?
A common cause of no tones when opening the roof catches, and the roof not opening, is malfunction of the microswitches on the top of the windscreen pillars. It is usually dirt. Some people have has success by spraying with contact cleaner (not WD40 - that is a dirt magnet). Thanks Ian! I'm going t...

Re: Roof won't open / Trunk lock problem?
Hmm, so today the beeping has magically stopped, but now it just beeps again as it used to (only when hitting speed bumps). Weird thing is, im not able to lower the roof now. I dont get the sound when i pull down the levers, but also i dont get any beeps when i pull on the roof switch. It's just sil...

Roof won't open / Trunk lock problem?
Hey folks, New user here, just bought a 206cc 2003 last week. When i bought it, i knew there was a small problem with the trunk sensor (when i drove over speed bumps it would do 1 beep for 1 sec and briefly show a image on the small screen indicating the car thinks the trunk is open). Although annoy...
