check the nuts and allen bolts in each corner of the runners the bolts can get jammed or you may find a random bolt in the foot well. I had the same problem with both of my gti seats,

Just a quick msg about the pedals is if the rubber round grips are warn its possible to make them stick out more like new. remove the pedals and I put some small spacers between the pedals and rubbers and installed the pedals, looks a lot better and more importantly grip a lot better!!!!

Just got my second 206, first was a 2000 gti loved the 2.0 engine but sadly the gearbox died so moved over to a 2001 cc in blue 2.0 perfect condition. only issue I have is this one is a lot slower than the gti. any known differences?.
