Re: 206 / 206cc Double Din Stereo

Regarding the audio controls I'm less certain, you'd have to do your own research. The headunit is programmable though so as long as you can physically make the wiring connections I don't see why you couldn't make it work?

Re: 206 / 206cc Double Din Stereo

The facia will certainly fit. It's the Connects2 setup which is listed as being 1998 on.

Re: The End

I always fancied one of those - let us know how it goes. I'm quite pleasantly surprised by it to be frank. It's obviously a 2002 car and it feels solid as a rock. There are no rattles, no knocking, banging or anything from it. It feels very solid and very well put together, with the exception of th...

Sold 206 / 206cc Double Din Stereo

Double din stereo conversion setup for the 206 / 206cc. Wife had this in her car before it died. I've removed it before scrapping the car. It's the full connects2 double din setup with steering wheel controls. I've made the loom and soldered it all together to join between the android unit and facto...

Tailored Car Mats 206cc

Hi everyone, Will post up pics later but have a nearly new set of grey with purple piping tailored car mats for the 206cc. My wife only got them at Christmas I didn't get round to fitting them until only about 2 weeks (had to wait for the retaining clips for the mats arrived from China). Then her ca...

Re: The End

It's the emissions controlling gubbins they bolt to a modern diesel which seems to ruin them. EGR valves and DPFs seem to be the source of most nightmares. At the same time the kind of hybrid tech and fuel efficiency gains made in the motorsport industry and filtering down to road going petrols maki...

Re: 12V lighter power by ignition switch

What audio kit are you wanting to add? Piggybacking off the cigar lighter isn't really the ideal way to go about powering additional devices. Doing this places additional strain on the cigar lighter circuit which it wasn't really intended for and means that when you do actually come to using the lig...

Re: The End

Cheers Ron, Col, Gazza. Appreciate the link Gazza but it's not worth it I'm afraid. It may get resurrected yet but not by us. We'd only been offered £300 trade in for it anyway, which is too close to the value of the parts to make it worth while. I certainly don't have the space, tools or skills req...

The End

Morning all, Heavy hearts in the Francis househould this morning as my wife's 206cc, she'd named Foxy, met her end yesterday. It was my wife's last commute yesterday before starting a new job locally in town today. On the 40 mile return leg, just over the humber bridge, she lost all drive, instantly...

Re: P0238

No rip off merchants at all. To be honest for a lot of the parts I need I just use eurocarparts anyway, as I'm generally time limited, and they're the only real supplier in town. I know if I think I've got an issue, I can investigate it Saturday early morning and ECP will generally have the part I n...

Re: P0238

And I suppose if you're an auto-tech then it's the customer paying the bill and not you haha It's fine, I'm a tight ass northerner :-) I completely understand what you're saying. I've only got two vehicles to worry about, my Fiat Stilo Abarth and my wife's 206cc, so it doesn't pain me at all to sit ...

Re: P0238

OK, looks like nobody knows. Not to worry. From what I've been reading either infineum F7995 or powerflex can be used as both are a stronger / more effective potion designed to keep the DPF filters blockage free for even longer. From what I've read the earlier eolys 42 or 176 were coupled with DPF c...

Re: P0238

OK - so I'm struggling a little bit as I'm finding it hard to identify the correct fluid with any certainty. It's suggested that there are different types of fluid, either Eolys 42 or Eolys 176, depending on the colour of the click fittings on the tank. I should have the green Eolys 176. When i sear...

Re: P0238

Afternoon gents, Had a good morning with the 206cc before I got rain / sleeted off the project. Some progress has been made too. Let's start with the simple - the headlights. Somehow the car had managed to blow one of it's sidelights and both of it's dipped beam bulbs. I'll be fairly sure something ...
