Have a look in the repair guide section on the front page of the site, think most of what you need is in there, have you checked that the hydraulic fluid id topped up in the roof pump ? or it could just be one of the roof micro switches not working properly, the guys on here normally seem to advise ...

Your unit is connected to the continuous live instead of the one that come from the ignition, don't believe the thing about the red and yellow wires, mine were coloured differently, easy way to find out which one it is to use a volt meter to establish which wire is perm live and then switch the corr...

In fact thinking back I had this problem with my roof, on my 52 plate the book lock was out of line so the car thought the boot was open and sounded the warning bongs, when you get the bongs is there anything showing on the central screen above the hazard warning light switch? on mine you got an out...

Probably something to do with the micro switches, search on here for the threads about where they are located and how to check them.

Probably be easier just to run new cables to the rear, you could spend hours looking for a fault.

Anyone able to tell me where I can get a working version of either Diagbox or Pp2000 from? Tried numerous versions from the different sources online but don't seem to be able to get passed the authentication with the passwords on them??

So all this software is new to me so I'm looking for a little help please. Is Diagbox V7.52 the same as Planet 2000 ? I have a 52 plate 206 cc, will this work with it ? I've got Windows XP running on my laptop, also what cable will I need to get to use this ? If I can't use this on my car can someon...

So has anyone actually worked out how you install the JBL sub system into the boot, tempted to get one that I've seen online but would like to how easy it'll be to put it into my 52 plate ?

Agreed Ian, mine is my weekend fun car, cheap to run, love getting out there doing bits of work on it and of course getting the roof down when the sun is out !!

You can buy the micro switches as part of the kit, really easy to fit with a dab of solder, I did it with my key as both the outerfob and the micro switches were damaged, quick look on youtube and 2 mins with the solder iron, mounted into the new fob and hey presto my remote was working again.

If its just the fob you need you can order them on ebay for a couple of quid, if you search on youtube you can see how to transfer the pcb etc into the new fob.
