Attached is a wiring diagram found on Peugeot logic web site
Using a multimeter you can check for voltage (ignition on, voltage going to pump, valve unit, etc) continuity of the roof, boot, boot curtain, switches
The diagram shown (shows switches in the roof shut position)

Had same problem, turned ignition off when opening roof ( NOW FIXED ) I manually shut the roof, then tried to open it but it gets to the point roof is in boot, parcel shelf did not come up and boot stays up! However - the car was reversed out of the garage, and the 206cc needed the run for it to start working
