Further development....small piece of "rubbery plastic" fell out of o/s roof latch...noticed on a google that it refers to at a leg in the latch and roof will not work if it breaks off. I do not want to go off in the wrong direction so anybody any ideas on this? I really appreciate all the...

Tried the manual opening/closing...no luck.With my basic knowledge and the microswitch diagram I have checked and cleaned the switches. Two questions :I get the "bong" when opening drivers side roof latch but no "bong" from passenger side,is that correct or should it sound on bot...
