Mine have just started squeaking again within the last couple of weeks. I guess the only real solution is to get new (non-Pug) grooved discs & pads.

They would have to test the product rigorously themselves, a process which starts before the cars goes into production. Technically, you shouldn’t know you have a puncture.
And you shouldn't really need to know. If it can't be sealed, the tyre will deflate. If it can be sealed, the repair is permanent and you don't need to do anything about it anyway.

Yeah, Kwik Fit are such a rip-off. Cost me £87 per tyre a couple of months ago...
