I bought these as spares but they are no longer needed. It's the little cluster of switches from the passenger side of the boot area - you'll know what I mean!!

Re: Location of starter motor please
Thank you very much. I think I literally just put my hand on it but I appreciate the confirmation. It doesn't look like itself at all when its fitted!

Thanks Col. It's on the cards for tomorrow so thought I'd ask. I have a set of ramps but not post lift.

Re: Changing spark plugs
There's a clip on the pipe which releases them

Re: Changing spark plugs
There's a guide on here iirc as I did mine recently.
Anyway, remove the black engine cover - couple of bolts. Remove the coil pack - few more bolts, also bearing in mind the spring clip and electrical connector on the end (right hand side).
Plugs are then visible

Re: Starter motor
Thanks for the replies. A job for Sunday as my own car collapsed today. Ok, that's a bit dramatic - a coil spring broke, but at least it was at home.

Re: Starter motor
Battery is fully charged but I should check the leads, just in case.
Earth to gearbox? I'll have a hunt for that one too!
Thank you.

Starter motor
Getting the 'click' and no start so need to get a replacement - are all motors the same across the 206 range?
Ours is a 1.6 if that makes any difference?
Cheers.
