If there is any sort of film on the windscreen, that can block the signal. We can't put the tomtom on the screen of the Clio .. we have to stick it to a side window! Difference in post and pre is the length of the cable ... which is part of the lambda circuit so don't just put two of the same on .. So an update. I went ahead and changed the coil pack. The car is driving better which is great

BUT

I'm worried this is the dreaded hydraulic tapper issue. It's only when cold (1 degree) and it's suffering all the symptoms.

Anyone know the models affected and what year?
