Re: Wipers and sidelights with ignition
If the COM 2000 is really fault-free, I'm afraid it is probably a fault in the BSI. I think I'm right in saying that you can't just swap a BSI - you need to do some key tapping with Peugeot Planet and there's some tie in with the Engine ECU and the keyfobs. But you can get the BSI tested and repaired.

Re: audio amplifier location
If you don't have the JBL box and the car has not been modified with some aftermarket system, the amplifier is inside the Clarion unit. The good news is you can usually get a replacement on EBay for £20-30. The bad news is it has to be programmed into the car, using Peugeot Planet. It might be easie...

Re: audio amplifier location
Some models have the JBL system, with a box in the boot. If you can't see a long black box just behind the bulkhead, you haven't got it.

Re: Wipers and sidelights with ignition
I think it could be the wiper motor, if the self-parking contact is not opening the circuit when the arm achieves the park position ( I'm assuming the contact is in the motor). It may be that the contact is adjustable and just needs a tweak. Otoh, I can't see what the sidelights would have to do wit...

Try scrapyards ("dismantlers"). Ebay can come up trumps.

Re: Instrument Cluster - Replacement
Just to mention that, if the speedo reading on any cluster you buy is higher than your car's, the system will adopt the higher value, and that cannot be undone by reverting to the original cluster.

Re: Insurance as a classic/2nd car?
I got a good deal on my 206CC from Adrian Flux on limited miles. You get a bit of a reduction if you tell them you're a member here. Another good one is AIC Tel 01442 242 400. I have my Suzuki Cappuccino insured with them at an agreed value on limited miles for a surprisingly low premium. Ask for Sa...

Re: Roof "Permanent Fault. Time for left and right locked boot loss of contact"
One of the most common faults is the switches in the latches at the top of the windscreen getting mucky, and not making contact to show the latches are open. Sometimes a spray of switch-cleaning fluid is all it needs (use the kind without lubricant, as lubricant acts as a dirt magnet). You will have...

Are the latches which are manually operated to move the roof by hand in the correct position? - see the handbook.

Re: Air conditioning leak
I assume you will be refilling with refrigerant to get your colourant around the system. I think I read somewhere that nitrogen molecules are very small, so quite possibly they would leak out. If the system has not been pressurised and used for some time, the seals could have deteriorated, and may n...

Re: Head lamp dosent work
The relays are on the BM34, the fuse box in the engine compartment. They are actuated from the demultiplexer on that board, which is driven by mutiplexed signals from the stalk unit. (I assume your car is multiplexed - I believe all the CCs are.) I think the solution for a bad relay is a replacement...
