My pre MOT always involves a blast to ensure that the engine is hot when it arrives, but also to clear the pipes
Also remind her indoors, to make sure engine is up to temp before attempting the "Italian Tune Up"

Re: LED Headlamps H7
If anyone is thinking of doing this avoid Horizon LED's in Bradford. While the latest Phillips Led's are great. There customer service leaves one hell of a lot to desire. I had to return mine as they were too big to go into the projector lamps on the 207... No end of problems about them wanting to k...

If you google 206 cc double din. You will see pics of a touch screen in place and it does not have any issues with the vents.
The issues you do have relate to the steering wheel controls. Which require a add on From the likes of Connects2.

Re: Want to learn about mechanics
I think I will try the course. I feel that being online, it will lack a very valuable practical component, but what is there to lose? For £19, a primer on theory still sounds good to me. As for the Haynes manual, is there a specific 206cc one, or does the 206 one cover all models? Most stuff you ca...

Re: maintenance rubber seals
I have tried two options. Silicon spray (messy to get right) brush or cloth better. My preferred option, given winter is coming and roof is not going to be used much. :santa: Red rubber grease. It is messy (best put on with your fingers) It will stay nicely on the seals, softens then nicely and will...

Well they might try. But did not succeed. Thankfully now you can enter car reg and it brings up the correct one.gazza82 wrote:Halfrauds will sell you the wrong one I bet. And £99 is expensive!
Yep I know it was not the cheapest, but it was the quickest I could get.

I NEED A PRUDACT THAT I CAN FIX AND RENEW MY RUBBER MULDING SEAL CAPS lock /off  Well that all depends on the amount of damage, or just what the problem is. I have used both a silicon spray (messy to get right) & red rubber grease (even more messy) to reinvigorate the rubber. Ultimate o...

Re: 206 cc 2 litre petrol keeps snapping aux belts
I purchased a 206 cc last month no warranty given or implied. Any thoughts? Private sale or Garage. If garage then you do have cover  I would be looking at everything the belt runs over to ensure that bearings and pulleys are all in good condition. Making sure that there are no sharp edges ...
