Update.
Firstly- a big thanks to the good people of this site, By going through previous threads & the replies, I've been able to bring my CC back to (near) life. Some things can be repaired, others do need to be replaced. One big issue is the battery. After looking around, I found a new 1 for £39. with...

Air intake/filter.
Been dealing with e few things on the car, so not been online for a while. One thing in particular was a wet air filter. After looking through forum history & the haynes manual, I now know the air intake is in a problematic place. It's virtually under the front bumper. Before I knew this, I just...

Re: Peugeot 206 2003 1.4i Auto Engine Oil?
I just changed the oil on mine & went with COMMA 5W40 fully synthetic. ACEA A3 which I got on amazon. 5Ltr for about £25 inc P&P. I heard that fully synthetic was the way to go & is well worth the money, difference in cost to multigrade is virtually nothing. So hope this helps y...

n/s roof latch
Hi, the roof works quite well, except on the final phase of closing i have to get out & push down the n/s to click it into place. Due to the delicate nature of these roofs, i don,t want to mess around with it too much. Could you point me in the right direction on how to deal with this. Many...

it was sainsburys, which has a timpsons in house. I honestly think they cocked up on the whole thing. BUT I didn't need to reprogram a new fob as I had the old board already.

leather interior
What to do!? I have black & red interior & it was looking tired. Some cracks & scuffs etc. I came across this before & was quoted silly money to fix it. First thing I did was to add a moisturizer/cleaner/sealer all in one. You can buy this kind of product online/halfords-for extra c...

Right click on roof
Hi peeps. just went to put the roof down & had the beeping sound. It turns out the n/s corner of the roof needed pushing down. I don't want to try pulling it apart, so hoping you might know what is causing this? Could be something simple, like a lack of lube?

Re: photo's or video's of tasks/repairs etc.
Thank you good sirs. Yep I do intend to photo some of what I've done. There are some clever touches to this car. OK, so an update to the temperature prob. I've done as suggested & fitted a new thermostat. Flushed out the rusty looking rubbish in the cooling system. Drained the oil & replaced...

Re: Spare key !
I got a new fob & blade done at timpsons. They guy first said it'll cost £45 then his boss came out & said "no" it's £25!!! I'm no expert but £70 seems outrageous. Try phoning them & ask for a price to cut the blade only, maybe call 2 of em?

Maybe users can tell their stories of trial & error. Trouble shooting experiences that were solved, through a process of elimination.
