Re: Sad, Sad Day - 206cc finally died
It was this one: http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/25/121/61/FH-X700BT/page.html When I had the double din fitted the top buttons were relocated above the ashtray. The mfd was going to be relocated to the original slot were the stereo was. I did have a pioneer sph-da02 which only worked with the iPh...

So Long - Its been fun
Well guys.. The 2006cc committed suicide on me on friday. The cam belt went and its not going to be cost effective to repair it as I could replace the engine but it also now looks like the gearbox may need replacing. I have now moved over to a VW Golf 1.6se. Its been fun owning my cc.. I was lucky t...

For Sale - Number of items - spoiler/splitter/sp grille more
Well my 206cc cam belt went and I'm not fixing it. The car is in the process of being sold. But I have a number of items for sale: Here is what she looked like 48 hours before she committed suicide http://i786.photobucket.com/albums/yy143/ricstanden/My%20Cars/Peugeot%20206CC/IMG_0003_zps18ed6e13.jpg...

Re: Sad, Sad Day - 206cc finally died
I've decided not to fix the car. a polish guy has offered to buy the car for £250 I have put it back to standard but I will be listing a number of things in the for sale section. so have a look and see if anything interests you. I am not looking at 2 totally different cars. One is a 1.6 SE golf and ...

Sad, Sad Day - 206cc finally died
Well after 2 months of ownership my 206cc died. I was at a roundabout and getting ready to move off and heard a crunch. the car stalled. Couldn't restart it. Pushed to the side of the road and called the breakdown. Got towed to my mechanic who confirmed cam belt had snapped - He said not worth repai...
Re: Back Axle
This happend to me and I has to replace the rear axle. But I also had to replace the hub bearing and abs sensors. As when we came to remove them they stuck in place I bought my recon axle from IM axles. Cost was £240 inc delivery but they do what your old one returned to them and they will collect f...

Rear axle doesn't seem right on my 206cc
Hi all I hope you can help. I have replaced the axle on my 206cc as the drivers side wheel was leaning in. I was told it had basically started to collapse. I purchased a refurbished one from IM Axles at a cost of £240 (in delivery). Now from what I have been told the axle is held in place by 4 bolts...

Re: Should I scrap or rebuild?
Chances are if you went through the insurance company the car would be written off. My mates wife has an old ford escort which had a headlight smashed and dent in front wing from someone pulling out of a road. Both cars must have been going between 5 to 10 mph, her escort was written off, but to buy...

Re: headlight question
It's not the bulbs I'm worried about. It's the connection on the car. Is it the same as what is in the light.

Re: new rear lights
I got a set of those lights least week and fitted them. Got the off eBay and the auction id was 111383492073
I was told to put sealant round the edges of the lights to try and stop any water from getting inside. I did this but I still have condensation inside. Gonna try and dry them out ad re-seal

Changing clock/heater lights
I'm in the process if changing the colour on my clocks/heater control. I've seen most people use white paper but they seem to get hotspots. I have bought defuser film from here http://www.metal-monkey.co.uk/acatalog/Coloured_Gels___Films.html They also sell translucent/transparent film. I got a bett...
