Re: bolts holding on other front brake calipers

Many Thanks

The video showed that both Drive shafts need to be removed. along with the starter motor.

If the flywheel isn't being removed does the starter motor need to come off.

Does the O/S drive shaft affect the gearbox removal

Re: bolts holding on other front brake calipers

I think the Video on UTube is of a petrol engine 106 and it's not a CC.

Mine is a Diesel and things look a bit different in the layout and Position.

What should i need to remove to allow enough room to drop the gear box ?

I have watched a u tube video and it looked like they stripped everything of the strut and then removed the strut to make room, but your advice will save a lot of work

Not had a good look, just a feel around the back of the caliper mounting brackets and a 8mm Hex bit is a loose fit in the attachment bolt. i had an Idea it might be a To...

bolts holding on other front brake calipers

What is the size or the hex bolts holding on other front brake calipers ?

Its bigger that an 8mm but 10mm wont fit, so i was thinking it may be 9mm but i cannot see a 9mm listed.

Or is it a tork with the fluted hex ?

Re: Broken Clutch

It was working absolutely fine with no slip or trouble getting gears, then as my wife depressed the clutch she said she herrd a pop and it just stopped working.

I thought it was the clutch cable until the AA man pointed out it was a Hydraulic mechanism.

Re: Heater Blower

Yes. The technician said the blower motor probably went, taking the plug out with it.

At least it was a fairly quick (& cheap) fix

Re: Heater Blower

Took the car into a friends garage and he put it on his gismo. He couldn't find any fault codes logged, so he gave me the number of a mobile auto electrical specialist who previously worked for Peugeot for 30 years. The man arrived today and discovered the brake light switch jammed on! I check behin...
