I think it must be a co-incidence. I've had to replace the pull cord on ours and it should have nothing to do with the normal roof operation.

Ours is **** DVT, not very fetching.

I remember saying to the salesman "I know that stands for something but can't think what", then when we were signing the papers for the car, I said "Deep vein thrombosis"

I can still see the strange look on the salesman's face!

Sounds like a reverse light switch to me. I used to have a Vauxhall with the same problem. On those, the switch is on the gearbox and is easy to change. Can't say I know where it is on the 206 though.

I used to wave when we first had the 206cc, but never got a wave back. Problem is the amount on the road.

When I'm in the 406 coupe, I've had a couple of waves though.

A friend of mine has got a 1.4 207 as a courtesy car at the moment and I was very dissappointed with the build quality. The car has 6,000 on the clock and is about 6 months old, but the flip out key spring has already worn, so it's dangling in the barrel, and the cover over the mirror on the visor i...

After changing single front tyres, on the 2.0 with the power there, I'd definitely recommend changing both at the same time. I changed just the passenger side first and the car pulled to the passenger side under acceleration, then changed the driver's side a few months later and now it pulls to that...

I would say these faults sound like an engine mount gone. I'm no expert though.

Personally, with the lighter cars, I like the black trim (not biased, honest). I find it breaks the car up nicely.

Yes, we had these not long after buying the car. Quite an easy job with only a spanner needed.

Yes, we had this problem a while back. I found I could push the switch into place as a temporary measure until I got a new switch (£35)

Sorry for the late reply. If I remember, you have to take the wiring plug off the ABD unit (sounds worse than it is), then the rest should be the same as the other side, just with less room to work.

If I remember right, you have to put the key to either accessories or ignition, but not start the car, then press and hold the button on the stalk. After a few seconds, it'll beep and say on the screen "auto lights on" or something simular.

Before you go hunting, I'd change the battery. It could just be the age of the battery. I'd start there and then start looking for any drains.
