Re: Wing mirror
Mine was plastic parts only Gazza. The coloured part of the mirror (on top) was saved
from the damaged mirror, and rehoused in the new plastic trim.
Was the secondhand one you found for 206cc only ?

Re: Wing mirror
Had the same problem......wing mirror loose, broken from base, but electrics still worked. Replaced with new kit, plastic parts only.....cost (hope you're sitting down) £127.00 plus VAT. That was parts only, not fitting. I would guess that wing mirrors are standard with several models. I am sure som...

Re: Cam belt frequency
I bought my 206cc nearly 3 years ago, and as there was no service history decided to have cam belt and water pump changed. At the time the car had done approx. 63,000. 13 years old. Garage said removed cam belt would have been good for a while, but better safe than sorry. The work was carried out by...

Private trader or not, I think the law only allows you to sell so many cars from a private address,
home address in a year.
Capncol......no doubt you will know.
If it was me, I'd visit him with a few mates and have a friendly word or two in his ear.

Punctures.
Thankfully......so far I have not had a puncture. I have the original aerosols, and guess they have a use by date. They would now be thirteen years old...same age as the car. Are they still of any use ? I have bought a back up.....(Holts, I think) just in case. Better safe than sorry. Firstly, do th...

Re: SoS i need info about 206cc Quicksilver Edition
Try Main Dealer for specification of your model.
Ask them to send you details which you can pass on to your insurance company.
Or get insurance company to contact main dealer on your behalf.
Insurance companies charge enough...get them to work for their money !!
Good luck.

Like everything in life, you need to look after things.......like Ron, I do low mileage each year
approx. 3 - 4,000.............but I do look after mine. No problems.
Don't forget, with any make you always get a few that are, how can I put it, made on a Friday
afternoon !!!!!!!!!!!
