The passenger seat is one of the biggest mysteries of the 206! Mine did some strange things, quite similar to your problem, I fiddled with it for 10 minutes before it eventually popped back into place. Maybe something in the seat adjust lever is loose, as a few days after mine played up the lever ca...

All fuel is identical and comes from the same refineries, the only difference being additives added.

Use Shell as its priced very competitive compared to the supermarkets and probably the best you can buy anyway. BP, Texaco, Esso, Total etc. are usually overpriced.

I had a leaky roof but it only leaked once every few months. It was only under heavy rain that a few drops would seep through so I never bothered getting it fixed. I remember hearing years ago on the forum about a silicon grease? can't remember much about it but I think it was quite successful. I al...

Yes that's correct.

If you hit the air recycle button as well as a/c it will cool the already cooled air, which makes a difference i've noticed.

I heard from an honest pug techie that said theres a 50/50 chance that brake pads from peugeot will make a noise.

Had mine all changed a year ago and a few months afterwards they started making a noise for a few weeks, then stopped and have been quiet ever since.

It would be handy to have the option.

I would never leave the roof down though after hearing some horror stories about jealous members of the public. I remember hearing about a strawberry milkshake interior once.

Ello Vick, I've owned both 206 and 206cc and fiddled with headlights on both over the years. I think they are identical in my opinion, also aftermarket headlights such as halo's will fit both 206 and 206cc models. Do as Grandadmonkey says and check peugeot if you want complete piece of mind though. ...

I've just paid 900 on a service so know how you feel. New brakes and pads, tyres... mine hasn't even done 40,000 so don't feel too bad.

Those things aren't wrong with your car, they just need replacing over time. Motoring is expensive. :|

Hi, never had the problem before but I have taken apart the centre console in the past.

The top part just lifts off when pushing it back, up or down, cant remember which order but its fairly easy to do. (Think you can access the rear of the display after that).

They are particularly bad in sales. Watching them flick through their own brochures to confirm things you tell them about the car is quite amusing. :) Having said that they are good in the servicing department.
