When you get in and out of the car does the creak happen? You can't lube the handbrake cable as none of it is exposed except near the calipers.

Samco do hoses, just a 2 hose kit which replaces the 2 big ones from block/thermostat housing to the radiator. About £60 they are. You can get strut braces for the 206 and CC. Momo did some that didn't require the car to be drilled but they have stopped producing them now. Sparco do a dairly decent...

The engine mods are completely pointless. I'd bet it doesn't have any more power than a standard car - it's on standard induction for a start!

Why does it need transmission coolers? Either the owner is short of something to do or a tuning company have been taking the p*** with the owners chequebook!

The CC won't be as safe in a roll over than the normal 206 despite it being metal. As for the comments about the CC having more lower body weight and therefore less likely to roll is nonsense. The folding metal roof with all its mechanism at the top of the car is likely to weigh more than a normal 2...

Has it got as turbo? Doesn't seem to be any sign of one so why's it got a water spray? If it's N/A on that standard inlet the engine won't be anything amazing. Probably be slower because it's having to shift all that pink fluff and bodykit around. diff coolers and trans oil coolers. A bit pointless....

I doubt it's the top mounts. Concentrate on the lower half of the suspension. Make sure the bolt holding the damper into the hub is tight as well.

What springs were used? It could be one of many things. Most likely is the drop link as they are disturbed when removing the dampers. To check if it is the droplink at fault diconnect and remove it from one side completely. Go for a short drive and see if the clunk has gone. Could also be a front ba...

Don't bother with it.

No point putting more fuel in until substantially more air is being put into the engine.

The throttle body on the 2 litre is tiny and so don't waste your time!

They made the 1.8 version of the 2.0 litre engine and was coded EW7. It didn't appear in a 206 though.

The Pro Kit springs were once offered by Peugeot as an option for GTi's with the Sport Pack.
So they are ok for use with standard dampers.
