Re: I can water sloshing on passenger side
We've been experiencing lots of heavy rain lately and I too have noticed lots of sloshing noises on the passenger side. I'm presuming that the drainage holes are blocked as discussed in previous posts to this thread. Will get the other half to have a look if the rain ever stops. However my passenger...

Re: Gear box failed?
Eventually had the drive shaft replaced. No idea what caused it. But now I'm getting a knocking noise that gets quicker upon acceleration. Could it be the gearbox or something else? The clutch and brakes feel ok still.

Re: Gear box failed?
Managed to get it towed home and upon inspection the drive shaft has snapped on the drivers side. Don't know what will have caused it until I can get into the local garage later on this week

Re: Gear box failed?
I'll try that once I get home this afternoon. Had to abandon it and head for work. Luckily it's not parked too far from home.
Mileage is just coming up to 70500.

Gear box failed?
Went to go to work this morning and upon going to pull off my driveway my car stalled. Took it out of gear and restarted the engine, put it back in to first and proceed to drive off. Upon selecting second gear it seemed to grind and loose power. Selected neutral and then put it back into first and s...

Re: Engine coolant temp too high
I haven't managed to check it at the moment as i'm at work. Will check it before I leave and top it up if appropriate.
Don't know if it had actually over heated or not as just took it at face value. Needed to be somewhere so parked it up and left it to cool down and came back to it.

Engine coolant temp too high
Hi folks! Any help greatly received on this problem... I was stuck in traffic for almost an hour yesterday which was very start, stop. Upon nearly arriving at my destination. The STOP light was flashing and the temp gauge was in the red. I pulled over and let the car cool down for around half hour. ...

Reverse lights not working...?
My reverse lights have suddenly stopped working. Both the bulbs and the fuse are ok, so could it be an electrical fault?
My MOT is due in a few weeks so want to get the problem sorted before then. If anyone could point me in the right direction that'd be great!
Cheers!

Re: Car now a swimming pool!!!!
My car leaks when there is a heavy downpour or i'm simply just washing it! All seals to the roof are intact. But like yours the rear window doesn't completely come in to contact with the front window which is what i think is contributing to the wetness. I've had all sorts of other problems in the la...

206cc won't start!
Peugeot 206 cc 1.6 16v quiksilver 54 plate. My car hasn't been properly for a few weeks. Just a short trip here and there a couple of days. Took it to work and back on wednesday and it was fine. Came to start it up on Thursday morning to go to work again and it wouldn't start. All the instrument pan...

Re: New clutch???
It's definitely the clutch that has gone on my car. Luckily a friend of a friend is repairing it for me so i'm getting 'mates rates' once i have the cash in place to pay for it. Otherwise i'd be looking at anything between £300 - £500! Not the kind of expense you need in January!

New clutch???
I've just started experiencing a whining noise that gets to an almost high pitch squeal when I dip the clutch. Only drove a short distance, maybe 2 miles, and by the time I pulled up on the drive there was an awful smell as if something was burning! I can only presume that this is my clutch that is ...
