REMOVAL - REFITTING DOOR ELECTRIC WINDOW MECHANISM

1 - TOOLS TO BE MADE LOCALLY

[1] Bolt (TH M10 x 21 mm) .

2 - REMOVAL

Remove :

• THE MIRROR CHEATER
• THE DOOR TRIM PANEL
• the sealing sheet
• the interior wipe seal
• THE EXTERNAL WEATHERSTRIP ON THE WINDOW
• THE DOOR WINDOW

Remove :

• the upper fixings (1)
• the closers and mountings

Disconnect the electric window motor connector (3) .

Detach the mechanism via the front opening .

Remove the window mechanism .

3 - REFITTING

Fit :

• the electric window mechanism in the box section
• the fixings (2) - (1) (without locking )

Adjust the window mechanism :

• place the front rail at the stop on the interior panel
• tighten the front lower mounting (2) to 0.7 ± 0.1 dan.m
• support the tool [1] on the interior panel to adjust the rear guide rail
• tighten the rear lower mounting (2) to 0.7 ± 0.1 dan.m

Tighten the fasteners (1) to 0.7 ± 0.1 da.Nm .

Refit the blanks .

Connect the electric window motor connector (3) .

REFIT THE DOOR WINDOW .

ADJUST THE WINDOW .

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

IMPERATIVE : fit new seals, which must be assembled without folds and tears ; absolute cleanness of the contact face on the vehicle is necessary ; run a wheel over the parts of the flange to be bonded ; these recommendations are essential to prevent possible entry of water, dust or noise .
