REMOVAL - REFITTING BOOT LOCK

1 - REMOVAL

REMOVE THE BOOT COVER TRIM .

Remove the barrel support (1) fixings (2) .

Uncouple the boot lock assembly .

Remove the lock centring ring (3) .

Turn the lock and uncouple :

• the pin (4)
• the pin (5)

Push the lock, insert a screwdriver [1] to the bottom of the lock notch (under the mark (A)) .

Insert a screwdriver [2] to move aside the lock and its support (under the mark (B)) .

Remove the screwdriver [1] .

Disengage and remove the lock .

2 - REFITTING

Refit the boot lock (positioned with the mark (B)) .

Push the lock to the bottom of its support .

Fit :

• the pin (5)
• the pin (4)
• the lock centring ring (3)
• the barrel support (1) fixings (2) (tighten to the specified torque : 0.7 ± 0.1 da.Nm)

Check the operation .

refit the boot lid trim .
